Having not evaluated VeriTrader firsthand, I cannot really draw comparisons, however one apparent distinction that I can make is that WLD can be used (my case) as a trading tool. I have switched to WLD 3.0 from Tradestation and I can tell you that it is definetly worth the price however that is entirely based on how you plan to use it.

In my case, I have it hooked up to the Qcharts realtime feed and mainly use it for short-term systematic index futures trading.
