How to determine the taking profit level for your portfolio?

Post by oem7110 » Mon Nov 08, 2010 11:03 am

If my initial investment portfolio is $100,000, one day, it turns into $170,000, I get no idea whether the account is growing or not in coming year, but I need to set a bottom line to stop loss and turn it into cash on my saving account.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to determine the taking profit level for your portfolio?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Eric

Try ten or twenty different ideas in backtesting, and choose the one whose backtest results please you most, or displease you least.
