which one is harder to do psychologically intrday ?


1) Fighting retracements with a profitable position

2) Taking a re-entry point after the market has started trending

To me, this is my observation

1) Fighting retracements with a profitable position


I believe it takes al least 50 - 100 learning trails to develope the ability to hold a profitable position against countless retracements before capturing a big trend.

Psychologically, taking profits prematurely remove fear, especially for those who trade very very big. The simple trick is to turn it around and start collecting profits......

Could some guys with military background do better and quicker because of their real-time combat experience ?

Anyone went to Vietnam and now trader here on this forum ?
