Total risk profile jumped to 100%?

Post by hopewell168 »

Where can I see the total margin for each trade?

At early July my test portfolio's total risk profile (margin to equity) suddenly jumped to 100% and then came back to normal 20% range in August. I looked at the trade log and can't tell why any new trade and their margins could cause this. I hope to check each trade's margin amount actually used in the system. Thanks.

Risk is not measured with margin but rather the distance between the entry and stop price.

There are a number of properties for margin. The margin for the instrument is fixed in the dictionary. The margin for a trade is just the quantity times margin.
