Black/White swan

Hi all.
Where can I read more about black/white swan trading. Googling does not yield very descriptive articles and I have searched at a few forums. All I could find was that they are very long term - like 7 years!
I would appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction, or better yet , if someone is trading them, can shed some light.
I would like to know what such a pattern looks like.
What timeframe to trade them.
Does it really take 7 years for this egg to hatch?
