No new suggestions here, but thanks for posting the Atlas rankings the other week. I yanked all but 5 bucks from my Rosenthall Collins account regardless of the 'expert' yap yapping in the Introducing Brokers Vancouver office. Moving further up the ranking list - will it matter - don't know. Once bi...

MarkS, I think that sluggo was just pointing out a paradox / oxymoron similar to the following: dark light the living dead an open secret an original copy enormous granularity...

Ultimately 'cash' markets should drive futures prices --- not the other way around. Cash markets existed before futures markets. When the relationship of contracts written to the volume of 'actuals' is stretched [ie: silver] or severed entirely [fiat currencies] the bounds are parabolically biased. ...

Quote: For example, Hoffman Asset Management (as of this writing) has had a maximum drawdown of about 12.55% on its $250,000 nominal account size program. This means a $31,375 drawdown in cash terms. The maximum margin usage is about 15% on $125,000 or, about $37,500 in cash terms. Should that not ...

Orders using ICE
Has anybody done contract month rolls in canola via the new ICE system yet? If so, has it worked out ok?
Additionally, I am wondering how traders are dealing with the inability to enter stop orders in this system.

This system is significantly different than the E-CBOT platform used for the past few years, and unfortunately most of the differences are quiet negativ...

Paying insurance premiums always 'sucks'... Until you need it. If you want to speculate. Speculate. If your aim was to lock in a profit, mission accomplished. rr RR, You're absolutely right. My aim was to lock in a profit, not to speculate. Two totally separate objectives. I am surprised at how eas...

Damian, Thank you, that clears it up for me. Barli, I am just interested to see what kind of a price rise it takes to initiate a signal for someone who trades via a LTTF system. Even though I don't know their system parameters it just gives me a sense of it --- that's all. I am more familiar with ca...
