(2) are you going to support a scripting language a-la TradeStation, TBB, etc. If you don't do #2, nobody is going to take you all that seriously because sooner or later they aren't going to be able to test their latest trading idea.

Backtesting on ticks and futures rollover
How should backtesting be handled with futures tick data? The question applies to a custom platform that I'm building.
I suppose I could take in futures rollover dates and notify the strategy when it's time to roll to the next contract. What about charting, though, as well as calculating indicators ...
