Futures Data Investigator warns of a problem in CSI's data for the March 2009 contract of LIFFE White Sugar (CSI number 199, CSI symbol "LSU").

CSI's data says the price was O=H=L=C=466.7 which is not correct. See red arrow on chart.

The nice people at www.futuresource.com give the prices for 21 Nov 2008 as follows (see image of table):
  • OPEN = 320.6
    HIGH = 326.4
    LOW = 317.9
    CLOSE = 322.0
Since FutureSource's Close price matches the Close printed on my brokerage statement, I'm inclined to believe it.

Perhaps if several of us were to send an email to CSI ( database@csidata.com ), complaining about the obvious error and wondering why WE can find it but THEY cannot, it might accelerate a fix.

It seems to be fixed as of 9:05PM Eastern time on Monday 24 Nov. I downloaded prices and the problem is gone (for now).
