Do you mean a price range of 1700's, or a date range in the 1700's?

If you meant price range, you can get DJIA data on Yahoo finance back to 1928. Here is a direct link where you can download a CSV file (Excel) that has the daily data, open high low close volume, back to 10/1/1928.

If you mean date range, the Dow didn't exist in the 1700s. It began in 1896. See Wikipedia.
