Hi twitter,

Thanks for your interest in Trading Blox.

1) Yes, the Trial Version is the same as the actual Builder Edition. The charts, systems, Blox are all the same. The only difference is that the Trial version works for only one week, and the Trial version uses the sample data only.

2) Yes, you can plot or not plot indicators by checking a "plot" checkbox on the indicator definition. Once the test is run and the indicators are drawn, then you can remove all indicators from the chart, or plot all indicators on the chart.

3) No, there are no drawing tools available. If you have a trend line that can be defined as an indicator computed and fixed each day, and you would like to back test a strategy based on that, then you can create, compute, and plot this line using a custom indicator in Blox basic.

4) Yes, the full version allows changes to the dictionary files and the data files. You can use text based files or metastock. We support most common metastock versions.

5) You can modify the Futures Dictionary, or create a Stock Dictionary file. In this way you can tell Trading Blox the format and name of the file associated with each symbol.

6) Yes, Trading Blox supports intraday bar data down to one minute bars. Your data can be mixed -- some 1 minute some 60 minute and some daily bars as an example. All markets are synchronized accordingly for signal generation and money management, etc.

7) Yes, you can have your data in multiple folders. The Dictionary tells Trading Blox the name and location of the file.

8) Yes, this is an option in Preferences. You can disable any of the reports.

9) The code is in a xml based file with a .tbx extension. They are located in the Blox folder. So you can just send your friend the file, and they can load it up and use it. Also you can export an encrypted version of a system if you want to share the system but not allow anyone to see or modify the logic.

Hope that helps.
