Traders' Roundtable

c.f. and I are likely to be in Bangkok in May, and are looking for business partners in Asia. We are interested in knowing which trade centers, data providers, or brokerage firms, etc our forum members from those areas would recommend. For example, who hosts the trade conferences/shows? Since many of our forum members from Asia use these services, we assumed you would have the best recommendations. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

We are tentatively thinking of going to Hong Kong and Singapore, and perhaps Syndey while we are on this trip and may schedule some meetings, free seminars, and/or demonstrations while we are there.

Are there other cities we should seriously consider? Asia's pretty far from the Virgins Islands so we want to make the most of the trip.

You might want to consider:

Tokyo
Shanghai/China (largest market in the world)
Mumbai (formerly Bombay)
New Zealand (in crisis situations, that's the first place traders hit currencies after hours)
