IFUS To Launch Corn, Wheat, Soybean, Soybean Meal and Soybean Oil Futures and Options Contracts
Effective with the start of trading for trade date Monday, May 14, 2012, ICE Futures U.S., Inc. will list five new cash settled futures contracts for trading on the ICE electronic trading platform: Corn, Wheat, Soybean, Soybean Meal and Soybean Oil. Options on each of these new futures contracts will be listed for trading on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
Most contract terms for the new ICE cash settled futures contracts track the terms of existing physical delivery contracts on CBOT, including contract size, minimum price fluctuation and contract months. Positions in the new ICE futures contracts that remain open at expiration will be cash settled using a Final Settlement Value that is based on the settlement price of the related CBOT contract and contract month on the ICE contract’s last trading day. The last trading day for the new futures contracts will be the business day prior to the first notice day of the related CBOT contract.
Contract terms for the ICE options contracts on the ICE cash settled futures contracts also track the terms of the related CBOT option contracts, including contract size, minimum price fluctuation, option months and strike prices, and last trading day.
