Anyone trading anything in Africa?

Hi,
Often overlooked, yet South Africa has a mid sized economy and well developed Futures exchange. Is anyone trading there?
In particular, anyone trading
ALS JSE-FTSE Top 40 Johannesburg SAFEX (JSE)
MAW Grain, Maize, White
MAY Grain, Maize, Yellow
British English Maize=American Corn
ALS is very liquid.
Correlated to FTSE 100 but not severe.
My broker was able to scratch a trade for me mid day, several hours after open, and it must have taken less then ten seconds. (Yes, yes, I know the 'not supposed to scratch...')
ALS back tests superbly with several systems.
Maize has less liquidity but back tests well with any trend follower method.
If you have experience about quality of fills, broker issues, fees, etc., kindly advise.
Thank you.
