Traders' Roundtable

I couldn't believe it first when I saw someone sayign on this board that pit will disapear but now I know they will. I was on Nymex a week ago and in Crude Oil pit there were about 5 people trading, same in natural gas pit, more people in Crude Oil options pit and one girl was there too. It's all electronic now and the era of pit trading is gone.

I feel very fortunate to have seen the bonds, S&P, even beans when things were hot... It was very physical as well as psychological. Next to impossible to describe to someone whose never seen, heard, felt, and smelled them. As if the pit itself was a living creature... At least you had a peek at the battlegrounds...

yeah, but all the "soldiers" left it and went "upstairs"...
