I had been (no pun intended) long in SN07 and rolled into the November contract on the 18th June at a price around 891. Then four days later got promptly stopped out, losing most of the gains from the previous 2 weeks. Having seen todays action reminds me of why trading can be so difficult. I wonder who managed to go long today.....

I began this journey about 1983 working for L.B. Stern and Co. as a runner on the grains floor next to the Soybean pit. Few things in this world are as incredible to behold as the bean pit on a busy busy day. The sound rose to a roar and you could 'feel' the energy in the air. The phones ringing, the runners fighting to get orders into their brokers. WOW I'm so thankful I was there at a young age and was witness to the beauty of raw capitalism at its finest. Go Beans! :D Actually though $3 more till we hit teens. It could happen...

Wheat is the hottest today though ;-) Bread in Israel will be 10% more expensive in 2 weeks(local newspapers report), definitely we all know why...

It was an audio clip of Mike Myers from Austin Powers. Funny movie imo...
