Just short the E-Mini NASDAQ instead?

Why not?

In a Bear Market, why hunt for short candidates when you can short the E-Mini NASDAQ futures and arguably (if you are right on your call) make more money anyway.

Beats screening 10,000 stocks if you ask me

do you do a historical test on that and verify that is true?

is the inverse of your statement also true in a bull market?

You are still trend following and need to identify your entry into the "Bear Market" and therefore need a whole system set up for this.

I have a similar thought and am starting to do some investigation.

Brad.
