someone who does the research for himself, will probably settle into a groove or a style that leaves its finger prints amongst ones portfolio of systems, no matter how one tries to mix things up

I support this comment. When I see a chart I immediately notice the existence or otherwise of one or two particular characteristics, no matter how hard I try to see other opportunities (for which I want to design a system). My system design attempts always end up morphing into a method that I already trade.

I always enjoy insights into what other people see with their eyes and consequently what they start to create with their imagination. I would say only one in many vendor systems would allow such an insight and is well worth the search.
