There were times IB went to bat for me in a strong way. Other times I was told we had the share the hits sometimes, in exchange. Regardless if I liked the outcome, It was not unfair. Stabile and deep... ??? I had Open E-cry for a test. Had rude and patronizing CS. Others here say they are wonderful....

What needs do you have not currently satisfied? What do you want your broker to do for you? Is it important if the broker is a primary clearing member or merely a introducing broker? Are you seeking a wider instrument universe?. Do you plan to trade LME forward contracts? South African markets? What...

I experienced, um, an issue with CSI software, build UA 2.10.7.112 . Large numbers of individual month contracts just disappeared -- poof! -- and the rollovers went crazy. I had a similar issue after refreshing my database over the holidays. Missing days, orders gone crazy etc. I didn't know about ...

Wow, very impressive what is possible. Ill tip toe in and see how it goes. I send orders to IB via their excel API. Over 100 per night. This would require running IB tws on the remote server. Have to try and see I suppose. The idea of using an iPAD to remote in while away from the office is very coo...

Using a remote server for trading

Pondering the benefits / drawbacks with using a remotely located server at a provider such as godaddy. I see godaddy offers private, and shared fractional access to servers. I wonder if you are using a remote server hosted at godaddy or another server farm type location... If you would be kind enoug...

Double up, to belly up...? There are much tighter bets if martingale is your thing. Wasn't Mr. Vince expounding a method where you don't loose. Is doubling up a looser better that taking a managed trend bet to begin with? Or would you continue adding size if the trend matured? Would there be profit ...
