IB offers SMART routing. An order at the "open" time would be routed to the best price available at all ecns as well as NYSE. Perhaps your fills would on average beat your data points. hmmmm

So far, my experience with filing a 'claim' for London via NY via my broker (or direct) is somewhat akin to fighting city hall. One of these days, Ill have to remember to get a team of lawyers on my staff. :lol:

Kiwi, you are correct. I just phoned Ib and the helpful friendly man said it is contract specific and as defined by the exchange . I was previously told it was set by the regular business hours of the equity exchange in that country. The guy agreed the definition is sort of 'nebulous'. So, thats why...
