by the way, RedRock, or anyone, when you're on the floor leasing or have your own seat does it cost you anything to trade? Aside from the cost of the membership, we had member dues quarterly. These were somewhat heafty. Also exchange and clearing fees and whatever commission you worked out with you...

pling too far back and trying to attain too much precision, except for historical support/resistance levels, However, I fully respect your methods, and your performance reputation, though with respect , I would be very grateful if you will explain from my chart example, where I was subjectively 'gu...

Cant help with the BPV. But atta boy for exploring the more 'exotic' contracts. I am curious if those lower value contracts may become valid on a shorter holding term system not subject to years of contract rolls. Little nips of the larger move so to say. Or would the increased transaction costs of ...

P.S. Redrock, even if I try and see your point about good intentions and preventing a meltdown consider this. The limit was set at 3 cents when the ATR was about 5 cents per day... The day before the drop the ATR was about 65 cents! Why the hell didnt they have that limit expanded to match the enou...

If true, and I'm not doubting what you say. Its inexcusable. The intention is probably to prevent a pool of stops coming together to create a meltdown. Ive been caught in those in the dow in its early ecbot days. . The order was filled some absurd amount from the order price. Way out of reasonable b...

Re: Trade execution problems with Interactive Brokers recent
i saw some slowness trading gold and silver today and y'day...had to cancel a couple of trades and put new ones. This was an unusually volatile day and period. Could be the trade matching engine was overloaded. NYMEX has decided to move its energies back to globex in 06 presumably because clearport...
