I wanted to ask a question:"How should the one treat himself when something like this happens...

interesting responses...thank you so much. When I saw Korea tumbling 6.5% it smelled like another crash to me. By crash I mean one down day in one of major US stock indexes at least 10%. I was expecting the crash to happen this coming Monday or Tuesday with some trigger during this weekend just like...

another market crash?

c.f. and all others who traded markets back in 1987, doesn't the entire situation at the stock market looks like it was in 87? Panic, no liquidity, credit problems etc... Yesterday the Fed, in a surprise announcement in Washington, cut the so-called discount rate yesterday by 0.5 percentage point, t...

traders, lets not forget the fundamental side of trading commodities as well. Although most of us base our trades on technical analysis, we cannot ignore this side of trading. Remember about "traders memory" in Way of The Turtle book? Its the same cycle of traders who still have that memory of past ...

A Way To Test Yourself If You Can Follow Your System

What I found is that sometimes I dont follow what it tells me to do though and try to be "mr smart pants" instead of simply following the satelite directions which I know is exact. Yes, sometimes it can give a longer...

totally agree with danZman's second sentence about those losses that slap in the face when you dont follow signals. Faith's book Way of The Turtle also helped me understand better who actually wins in the game: ONLY those who are CONSISTENT and FEARLESS about their systems.
