Infortix

Hi,

has anybody heard about infortix or has experience with their services? I was contacted by them. It seems they provide EOD data. They are also based in Boca Raton (like CSI).

I retry the download and it is now working fine! I didn't change any config.

Rob from CSI ask me to upgrade to the latest UA build. I told him that it was now working fine. I am waiting his answer to upgrade or not.

yes strange.
Did you have a microsoft patch update this night (security patch or something like this)? I had one. Had even to reboot my computer. Normally these patch updates come regularly and I haven't any problem. Don't know if it is the reason. Just trying to find the cause.

Strange. What is your message of error. By me, it is: "CmpDaily Data File TimeOut".
I try to write to csi but the addresses service@csidata.com and latesupport@csidata.com are undeliverable and the emails come back to me. Keep trying though another mail address.

Yes, you are right. I monitor the first notice dates for the futures with one outside of csi. And I keep the same roll settings for all futures in csi.

Yes, I do the same sort of thing: roll on OI, but force roll 2 days before expiration if not already rolled.

Thanks for your replies. Here the reply of csi: "The feed we recieved with the Vol & Open Interest was incorrect.  I have made the corrections for it, and you will see that change tonight." Sluggo, thanks for the attachments. It seems that these 2 futures expire on the 3rd friday of each month. I t...

Thanks a lot. Will check if I am using 1st or 2nd trigger to reduce wrong rolls.
Yes it is a bore indeed. But anyway no ideal solution I think, so we will have to work around.

Hi, nobody has yet replied on the OMX problem that I have posted a few days ago. Anybody trading it? I have a new problem today with csi with the IBEX35 future (csi #331 or MFX0). It rolls from July into December. My trigger for rolling is on open interest and it seems that csi is posting wrong open...

Trouble with csi #956 or csi O3 (OMX 30)

Hi, I am experiencing some problems with the data from csi for the OMX 30 (csi #956). Same problem on 2 versions of csi: 2.9.3 and 2.10.7.96. The file that I received on June 30th, had for the unadjusted July contract the following prices: 2009-06-25 780 2009-06-26 780 The file that I received today...

Hi,

it seems that there is no data for TY (CSI #150 floor + electronic) for yesterday. It was President day, but electronic was open.

Sluggo, sorry if I was not very explicit. I mean your first option: "you have a position and you don't get an exit signal". RedRock, you understood me correctly. You answer is also what I thought about this problem. It is not ideal from a money management perspective, but to change this, I will have...
