Does anybody have any experience with Fusion 2 on an Apple computer and Tradingblox? Would you prefer Fusion overs Parallels? Why?

When either using Fusion or Parallels do you use it with Vista and which version? (Home, Pemium, Ultra?)

Thanks

Just wonder how many consecutive losses did you incur? How much more pain would you be willing to accept? Thank you very much for sharing your experience as you are going through this right now and good luck going forward. May you be up 30 % very soon!

I do not know if the decline is over.......far from it! I only stated that if you are using W.D. Gann cycle work then one has to look into the POSSIBILITY of a potential low in the market going into the 10/10 or 10/13 time frame. The market being down for almost one full year is quite a long time wh...

Thanks Barli. Either way it seems that we are in the final stages of this decline or so I hope as there is some real suffering here on Main and Wall Street. Amazing how we got here and all the things that are happening which no one would believe only 6 months ago! Simply amazing and fascinating to a...

Love that song! For what it is worth using Gann cycles a low could be coming in on or about 10/10 or 10/13.

Maybe just another sharp and painful correction in a secular bear market lasting for many more years with disappointing returns with a buy and hold strategy? Sometimes wonder if it is possible that financial markets participants and the central banks are also re-inventing themselves just as you have...

Interesting that the market topped again on or about 7/16 in the S & P 500! Check back to 1982 how many times the S & P 500 changed direction within days of the this date! Yes I know it is by no means statistically significant at all. Next time cycle to watch would be at around 9/5 (lower hi...

TraderDJ and Damian thank you both very much for your comments. I was very close to consider the THinkpad X 60 but now it seems that the new Macbook Pro might just be the best solution after all. I checked with the NYC Apple store that you could even attach the 30 inch external monitor with the lapt...

Thank you very much all for your comments. Looks like my next computer will indeed be an Apple now the only question is which one. I do not intend to buy a laptop so the pixel issue is not a concern.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

Turtle40, I am also playing around with trying to come up with a long only system for stocks that is acceptable to me. I thought that taking the possibly worst time in stocks in most recent history which in my thinking would probably be from 1/1/2000 to 12/31/2002 and then coming up with a way to av...

After having dedicated years to the study of Gann's work and have seen it work AND fail many times I simply came to the conclusion that it is very difficult (at least for me) to make it work as he sole input. One of the best out there in this field is Bill McLaren who will be the first one to admit ...

That is correct 0 and 360 is the same. You have to put everything into perspective of 360 degrees or it's division e.g. 90, 180, 270, 360 or 45, 135, 225, 315 or 30, 60, 120. Then there is 36, 72 and 144 degrees. Also look for yearly cylces e.g. 1 year from hi or low and 45 days from low and 90 days...

I am using an important high or low within any current calender year e.g. align 0 to the low of 7/17/06 and look for division of time on the outside of the square for time cycles then align 0 to the price of the low on that day (1219 in the S & P 500) and check for price resistance going up and ...

Barli, Many of the tools by W.D. Gann are amazing, fascinating and CAN be at times really very accurate indeed. I especially thought the Square of Nine, Square of the High, Low and Range in addition to his interpretations of the cycles of time are sometimes just plain simply astonishing. I am attemp...
