I wrote a script that downloads the daily OHLC data for the instruments in my portfolio, a script that processes entry/exit orders spit out from TB, and a script that enters all positions to synch with TB. looks like you have sorted then: ) i was trying to access and and go through there .dat and ....

I was up till 230AM last night working on an MT4 script that will automatically place orders with my broker based on Blox output. I am coming along slowly but steadily; it sure is satisfying as your code comes together and you get your desired output piece by piece... How did u go with the mt4 data...

yes i agree,and heres a idea,use a basic MM with ur system to get the bases,then use the win\loss ratio, average trade size,winingBars,LoosingBars ect ect to build a advance MM.

Its also a good idea to test loong only systems 1929-32,67-82 & of course while your at it 87-88,97-98,2002 areas.
But of course you dont have to trade these system's in bear markets :wink:

Hi there,i posted this 1 sumtime ago,its the same data that cmc(spreadbeaters)use,so if u use them it best to test with this data.
I like the supertrend indicator and has served me well over the yrs.

If u trade daily bars try to enter at the best price the next day by using a intraday system to enter your long position...eg ur next long signal on a 15m or hrly,use your intraday stop for the day,u can then start to merge your longer term stop in by start stretching your stops futher on time frame...

I beleive they call that indicator pileing,but useing short systems\stradegy's with over all direction(trendFollow)works. intresting summer corrilation,i was thinking crossing the usual linear weather correlation ,,,u think the low dips are getting higher cause of global warming??

I think alot of people try to trade and aim to high,always trying to get the max from there moves,this is always not the case,to make a regular(desposable) income,take the euro for instance,moves on average 80pips per day,all u wont is 10-20pips aday of the pie,any more then its just a greed factor ...
