If the market closed the previous day at 44.90 the broker can and should still take an order to sell at 45.00 stop the following day. One can only hope that some traders move away from long term trend following. The better for those who maintain discipline. One must manage the drawdowns and remain in a position to take advantage of the inevitable runs.
