If, for example, your fixed fractional worked out to 20 shares and your option delta were 0.5, then 40 options would be the equivalent of 20 shares. In addition to not being able to calc ATR, you will not be able to see the maximum intra-trade drawdown.

For that reason alone, I'd be sure to get OHLC data so you can determine your own Uncle Point for the system

I have done numerous tests which confirm that exits are more critical to profitability than entries. That having been said, I also believe that there is no magic bullet.
